Zip Up Hoodies

A zip-up hoodie is usually better for layering because you can wear it open, zipped, or partially zipped, and take it off easily without pulling it over your head. Pullovers are great for maximum coziness when you plan to keep them on.

Wear it open over a fitted tee or tank with high-waisted sweatpants for a relaxed look. Zip it up and pair it with jeans and sneakers for errands, or tie it around your waist on warm afternoons.

It depends on how you plan to wear it. An oversized zip-up looks relaxed and layers easily over thicker tops, while a cropped or standard fit looks cleaner with high-waisted bottoms. Check each product page’s size chart for exact measurements.

Tees, baby tees, tanks, and fitted long-sleeve tops all work well. Choose a simple top in a coordinating or contrasting color so the hoodie stays the focus.

Back-embroidered hoodies give you a clean front and a bold design on the back, so you get two looks in one. They’re especially eye-catching when you wear the hoodie open or walk away.

Zip it up completely and turn it inside out before washing to protect the zipper and fabric. Wash in cold water with similar colors and tumble dry on low or hang dry. Avoid bleach and high heat to protect embroidery.
